May Board Meeting Update
Heather gave a summary update on checking account. We may look at getting some of this money invested at a higher interest rate. A review of the scholarships that the club is sponsoring was also given.
The club is looking to offer the ability for individuals to be Friends of Rotary instead of full members. We have a number of active citizens who provide us with project support and do not want to be full members.
Heather gave an update on the points the club has available for the Paul Harris Awards. We are going to use these points to give awards to deserving community members.
Heather has a list of possible candidates.
She is asking that club members provide her with other nominations by June 6.
